I am a Colorado Springs native, born and raised.I have always had a passion for real estate. I began in real estate by cleaning houses. It was this experience that I was taught how to work hard to make other people happy. I also learned that a home is something to be proud of, it is more than a place to live.
In 2012 my adventure in real estate took off at Pink Realty. I started in an office postiion. I didn't have a preference for what that job would be, I just knew I needed to get into this industry. I started as an assistant to a real estate team. Doing small tasks to help accomplish larger tasks. I quickly realized that the larger task had such a positive impact on people's lives and I had to learn more. I moved from my assistant position for the entire team and got acquainted with the transaction coordination position of the company. I learned the 'behind the scenes' aspect of a real estate transaction. (I couldn't believe how detailed everything was) It was incredible. From there I took on the task of client coordinating and marketing. In this position, I got to experience first-hand how to make our clients happy and help them to understand where we were in the process. I was encouraged to create and think outside of the box to deliver quality service and expand our marketing strategies.
As the company grew I transitioned into the buyer and seller team coordinating positions. These were the defining moments for me that really taught me what it means to address questions and assist people to reach their goals. Not only individuals but our team of real estate agents as well. I had the opportunity to think outside of the box and learn from the best. For a short period of time, I worked at the front desk. This gave me the opportunity to interact with agents from other real estate companies. My final in office position was as the Seller Team coordinator and my main point of focus was to determine the best options for selling properties and explain how we can help. I achieved my goal to become a real estate agent in 2015. I feel privileged beyond belief to have the opportunity to assist in what can be a heavy decision in people lives. I have been a party to over 1000 transactions in my career as an assistant and real estate agent. I believe in building relationships and rising above expectations. I love when my clients become friends and I believe that teamwork makes the dream work!

House shopping can be so stressful and scary. Monica Breckenridge made it so much fun and a great adventure. When she talked to us she asked us a lot of great questions and even asked each of the kids what they wanted in a house. At each house she looked at with us, she noticed all the things I would have forgotten to look for. Closets, carpeting in the dining room (A huge fat no go with me) and all the little things the kids considered important to them. "This is the second time my wife and I have used Monica in the past 4 When we left Colorado for Alaska, we thought we were done - Monica and the Pink Team took real good care of us when we were out of state and country trying to sell our home - the market wasn't as "hot" as it is now, but she had three buyers in a bidding war and got us top dollar for our home we were selling, so it was a no-brainer to use her when we moved back and bought a home. Now, a new-build isn't for the faint of heart, let me tell you! But Monica made sure we had ALL the information we needed to make an informed decision. She brought us to all of the builders, with the intention of just looking at floor plans (we were looking at a time frame of a year out!), explained to us which builders included what design features/upgrades, and which builders nickeled and dimed you, explained everything from lot premiums to closing costs and didn't treat us like ingnoramouses when we asked questions that we didn't understand. Their marketing department has wonderful information on new builds on their website, Brian and Kaitlyn in the Transaction Coordinator office have been patient, kind and unfazed on the litany of information that passes between us, the lender, the builder, the builder's coordinator, the sales office, the design center, the VA, the appraisers....there isn't a single detail that has gone by the wayside. I would highly recommend Monica Breckenridge and the Pink Team to anyone desiring to sell their home. Monica is truly a professional. She is courteous, and very knowledgeable of the real estate market in the City of Colorado Springs. She posses a very pleasing personality, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to assist to the maximum. The manner in which she advertised and staged each room in my rental property was commendable. My husband and I contacted Pink Realty on the recommendation from a friend who had just purchased a home through them as well. Within the afternoon Monica had contacted me to get some general information on what we were looking for in a home and after that the Realtor we would be working one-on-one with, Deborah, had contacted us to set up some showings. We were in a rush to buy a home ASAP but we never felt pressured to purchase any of the homes we looked at. We told Deborah what we were looking for and she showed us some houses, which exactly fit what we had asked for in a home but none of them felt right. After viewing a few listings we sat and talked to Deborah and described detailed features in the homes that we liked/didn't like and she later called us with more listings that again, fit our requirements but this time they all felt more like "home". We found our home and were under contract that night, the entire home buying process took less than 6 weeks from start to finish. Pink Realty was so helpful throughout the whole process, from recommending an amazing financial lender, to home inspectors, to sewer scopes, Radon Mitigation installation, to title companies and often got $50-$100 discounts from the companies for being recommended by Pink Realty. We had a small negotiation battle going back and forth with the seller and even though it was right in the middle of the holiday season, Deborah kept us completely informed and explained things easy and simple so that we, as first time home buyers, knew what was going on and knew what to expect. We don't plan on moving any time soon but if the situation ever calls for it, we will absolutely be using Pink Realty's Services and would definitely recommend them especially to first time home buyers.
