Russ is the Owner/CEO of Pink Realty. Prior to being in real estate, Russ was an Electrical Engineer for Honeywell. He has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M. He has been in the real estate business since 2006. He started out investing and buying houses as fix and flips and rental properties. In 2008, Russ and Monica teamed up together to join their expertise to make a great team. In 2009 was when Pink Realty opened.

Russ is the Property Manager for Pink Realty. Since he has bought over 200 houses himself he has learned through experience of managing his own properties. He then began to specialize in managing other people’s homes. He is very thorough in finding the best qualified tenants for our rental properties and does a thorough background check on all potential tenants. He conducts interviews with potential tenants to make sure they are the perfect fit for the property. As well as, assists both the tenant and the landlord through the process. He always responds in a timely and professional manner to any problems that may arise while the property is being rented. He sends out contractors to properties that are in need of repair.

Russ is also the in-house Computer Technology man. He is genius with computers and always stays up to date on current technology. He is also a master in adobe with designing the artwork and design of marketing.

Am I related to the town of Breckenridge, CO?
That is a question we get everyday. Are you related to the founders of the town Breckenridge? Well there actually is a fun little story behind the name. The town of Breckenridge, CO was actually named after the Vice President of the United States John Breckinridge.  In 1859, a town for gold miners was set up along the Blue River in Colorado. The town was called “Breckinridge” in hopes of flattering Vice President John Breckinridge in order to get a post office. The plan worked and Breckinridge became the first town between the Continental Divide and Salt Lake City to get a post office for its 8,000 residents. Well it so happens that the owners of Pink Realty are related to John Breckinridge. The family name and the town of Breckinridge was renamed over time to Breckenridge. So yes, the town of Breckenridge was named after Monica and Russ’s family. Pretty neat to be living in Colorado and doing real estate in this town.
